FILED A BANKRUPTCY AND BEING DISCRIMINATED IN EMPLOYMENT?
In these troubled times many of you have had to file a bankruptcy.  You haven’t wanted to file but you have been forced to because you have been out of work and because of the debt load on you and your family.  If you have been offered a job, and have taken a job, and have been subjected to a background check which reveals a bankruptcy and then you have been terminated because of that bankruptcy, you have a case under 525(b) of the Bankruptcy Code.  An employer is not permitted to discriminate against you, in your employment, under those circumstances.  If this has happened to you, you need to contact us so that we can properly evaluate your case.

THE RECESSION IS OVER (NOT)
No doubt many of you have heard that the “recession” is over or soon to be over.  Try telling that to these some 13 – 20% of people who are unemployed.  The recession might be over for Goldman Sacks who posted record profits, but the TARP money and bailout monies for corporations has not trickled down to effect the staggering unemployment numbers.  If you are unemployed, discriminated against or having a tough time because your employer is exploiting the vulnerability of your situation, give us a call.  We promise to evaluate your case carefully and judiciously, without hurting your employment prospects.
