MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE:
As of July 24, 2009, the minimum wage has increased from $7.15 to $7.25 an hour.  If you are still being paid below the minimum wage, you need to contact us.
NOW WHAT?
The Unemployment Compensation Benefits for many people are about to expire sometime this year, leaving them with no money.  The stimulus package was supposed to increase employment.  This has not happened.  It looks like we might be on the threshold of further foreclosures and therefore, further damage to the economy.
This means that it is more essential than ever to try to find work while you still have the benefits and, equally important, to ensure that your employer compensates you for any discrimination you have suffered as a consequence of lay off or termination.  We are here to help.  Any questions, call – never any obligation.
